Profession +1 when already at max?
I am a level 59 fisherman at level 4. The max for my level.
Yet earlier today when fishing I got:
12:24 Your skill level has increased by +1.
The number on my profile did not increase to 60, yet I still got the message.
Strange?

I've had that too, i'm at my max (29) yet i've had 2 or 3 +1's since I maxed it...

same thing. sort of. I was fishing today. I am level three and my warrior name is GuitarBoy. so anyways, I was fishing and when i got to ten points. it stopped. does anyone know anything about this?
Fish more. On level 3, it will stop at 29.
