Pet Essences
Unless I am missing something from the News Article, you should be able to get Pet Essences from all pets, as long that are lvl 5 or above, right ? I tried earlier with me Wolf Cub (bought from the Winter Fair) but did not recieve any Essence when using it, and it is a lvl 8 pet.

After that fight I had 400 Essence so switched to my Wolf Cub.

As can see, no essence, actually tried a 2nd time to make sure and nothing, then switched to another pet.

And got essence there so continued with my Scorpion instead of my Wolf Cub.
