How to post images in a thread?



Dear players,

Many of our little forum events ask you to post images in our threads.

Here is a little guide, of how to embed your images in your posts and easily make them visible for all:

1. Take your picture
2. Upload it to any hosting service in the internet
3. Copy the direct link and place it into your thread as follows.

Example:

[IMG]insert image link here[/IMG]

How do I upload an image to Imgur?

First go to https://imgur.com/upload

There are three ways to upload an image.
  1. Simply drag the image into the field
  2. Upload an image from your PC
  3. Enter the URL of the image



Your picture will then appear. Now all you have to do is right-click on the image and select "Copy image link".
Now you have your image in the clipboard and can paste it wherever you need it!

Wie lade ich ein Bild auf Imgur hoch?

Zuerst auf https://imgur.com/upload gehen.

Es gibt drei Möglichkeiten, ein Bild hochzuladen.
  1. das Bild einfach in das Feld ziehen
  2. ein Bild vom PC aus hochladen
  3. die URL des Bildes eingeben



Dann erscheint euer Bild. Nun müsst ihr einfach nurnoch Rechtsklick auf das Bild machen und "Bildlink kopieren" auswählen.
Schon habt ihr euer Bild in der Zwischenablage und könnt es einfügen, wo ihr es braucht!

When sharing images, make sure you're using a direct link to the image file — one that ends in .jpg, .png, .gif, etc.

This will show as:



:?: How to get the correct link:
1. Upload your image to a site like Imgur.
2. Right-click the image and select "Copy image address."
3. Make sure the link ends in .jpg, .png, .gif, etc.
4. Paste that link into your post using [img][/img] tags.

This ensures the image shows up properly in your post.

Dies wird angezeigt als:

1. Lade dein Bild auf einer Seite wie Imgur hoch.
2. Klicken mit der rechten Maustaste auf das Bild und wählen "Bildlink kopieren."
3. Achte darauf, dass der Link auf .jpg, .png, .gif usw. endet
4. Füge den Link mit [img][/img]-Tags in deinen Beitrag ein.

Dadurch kannst du sicherstellen, dass das Bild in deinem Beitrag richtig angezeigt wird.
Forum rules, EULA: Signature should not be larger than 2 lines with normal font size. Abunadance of formatting tags, colourful appearance, and large fonts are forbidden.
